Dr. Yoost is a gifted laparoscopic and transvaginal surgeon. Dr. Yoost earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Centre College in Danville, KY. He graduated at the top of his class from the University of Louisville, School of Medicine. Dr. Yoost completed a five-year residency in urology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. The Medical University of South Carolina’s urologic residency is one the most respected programs in the country.
Dr. Yoost’s particular areas of interest include male and female incontinence; female pelvic organ prolapse (dropped bladder); management of challenging incontinence and prolapse, including revision or removal of vaginal mesh; kidney stones; bladder and kidney cancers; erectile dysfunction; testosterone replacement therapy; and the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia with minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Yoost also serves as the Chairman of the Department of Urology and the Department of Surgery at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa, Kentucky.
